The time is 4am. Daddoo is WELL into REM sleep and Mummers has awoken to have some water and go back to bed. She is having trouble keeping her peepers closed. Mummers sleeps on the door side of the bed. She is currently facing the door and decides to get comfy on her other side. She rolls away from the door and faces sleeping Daddoo. She lays there TRYING to get back to sleepy land and is just ABOUT there when she gets the feeling. The feeling like she's being watched. She opens her eyes and sees that Daddoo is still out. She turns around to look behind her but not expecting anyone as she has JUST turned over a minute ago AND she hasn't heard any noises. She peeks over her shoulder and is SHOCKED to see ABIGAIL standing there. The next sequence of events happens over literally a SECOND. Mummers SCREAMS (ringing her vocal chords), Abby LEAPS into the air, shadowy hair flying everywhere. Abby screams, Dadoo (who has been enjoying a deep sleep) BOLTS UPRIGHT in the bed and YELLS, which scares both Mummers and Abby... who proceed to scream louder (and which eventually leads to Abby bursting into tears).Mummers and Daddoo know that if Abby had a bad dream (and then had to LEAP down the dark hallway to their room) that she was TERRIBLY on edge! After all, 4pm is a SCARY time to wake up for a kid! Abby is consolled and tucked back into bed. Poor soul! Wonder which was WORSE... having the bad dream, or going to Mummers and Daddoo for comfort!?!
All in a night's sleep for the McKinnons...

Oh, only if it makes ME a bad person too! I felt the same! I know she must have FLOWN down the hallway heart beating wildly in her little chest and then scary Mommy shows up!
ha ha ha... She`s okay now... so it`s all good... THOUGH I WILL BE SHUTTING OUR DOOR TONIGHT!
