Well, after a long summer away, I suspect we will be back online this week. We have had a very full time this summer, but probably one of our best summers so far. I started a new job, which has been going really well. And, we took a few weeks to visit my family in Nova Scotia. After lots of restaurant fare, hotel stays and ice cream every day (why not when for a family of six we could get huge amounts for 8 dollars! See below for example of a SMALL cone!), we have returned to a nice fall. Three kids in school, one at home - it feels like we have regained a semblance of freedom with our time. Running errands with one instead of two during the day makes all the difference in the world!

Hey, we must have just missed you in Nova Scotia and PEI. We were in Summerside and also in Lunenburg......I remember seeing your hotel. Loved that place. We stayed in a B&B about a 2 minute walk from "downtown". Was the Bluenose II there when you were there? It left the day after we arrived but managed to get some pics.
Looks like the "clan" had a great vacation!! Can't wait to show my mom the pictures.
